About Siddall Photography

From capturing the inauguration of a new hereditary Haida chief on Haida Gwaii, to the documentation of the traditional culture of the Vuntut Gwitchin in the remote Yukon arctic, Chris Siddall has always been fascinated with the capturing of emotion and expression during singular moments in time.

Since a high school photography course first introduced him to the darkroom, Chris Siddall has been taking photographs. Continuing his education in photography to Fanshawe College in London, Ontario Chris was awarded the Best Photographer overall in his graduating year of school.

By using his diverse experiences to shape his point of view, Chris continues to capture poignant moments through wedding and event photography in the Bow Valley (Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise).

He has contributed to a variety of editorial magazines (Up Here - Oil and Gas, Kootenay Mountain Culture, Snowboard Canada) as well as contributed to the National Photo Collection for Parks Canada.
